back to square one

so its been a while since i posted anything. summer has pulled in and unfortunately 9 days of me being back on a wakeboard, i blew my knee again... so iv been struggling with that a little, and have a whole bunch of time on my hands all of a sudden. here's a clip that totally got me stoked again when i saw it! totally crazy!

so terence orpen and crew came out to the river to shoot the boys riding one weekend.. they swinged by my place to come hit the rails and i helped out with some chase boat driving since i was out for the season due to my injury(i was actually practicing for the national chase boat driving championships)... anyways they made this sweet little clip and there is defiantly more in store for the future!

world cup soccer 2010 south africa

as you all probably know the soccer world cup is right here in our back yard and its ayoba! it kicked off on friday with baffana baffana playing mexico in the first game...it ended in a one all draw but it was a brilliant game! the atmosphere around the country was electrifying and it really made me feel proudly south african! GO SOUTH AFRICA!

the story behind the name

so firstly i decided on loggenville as a name for my blog but i thought people would probably check the name and some how associated it with locnville the dudes from capetown. unfortunately there is no connection...... how ever, there is a connection with my last name and lochvaal, the stretch of river where i grew up. anyways thats why i decided on waterlogged.... a bit different, and no weird dudes singing about the moon and the sun! here is locnville just to clear up the confusion! =) B.LOGG
